My friend has this gardenia 1 year. It looks good until now, but there are how it looks today...

I told her that this happened due to unapropriate soil ph... Am I right? What can we do to helt the plant?

AnswerHi, Sorry, can't upload your picture. pH should be 5.5. Gardenias need 6 plus hours of direct sun. Drooping leaves over entire plant or yellowing new growth would indicate too much water. Internal leaves yellowing and dropping would indicate too little water. Most gardenias suffer at temps below 20 degrees. If this info doesn't help, write back with a little more information. Outdoors/indoors/container plant? Jim
