My lawn is 2 years old and has several large areas that "flare up" every winter. I am trying hordicultural corn meal right now. Will this eventually calm down?

Hi Scott, Brown patch is difficult to control using only organic solutions. Mow frequently and always bag, avoid over-fertilization and water as infrequently as possible.
Make sure your pH is 6.5, no lower and continue what you are doing.
I'm not opposed to using a fungicide once or twice to clean it up. My preference is Bayleton or Eagle. Either should cure it quickly. Make sure you treat the infected area and the surrounding area thoroughly. Jim
