QuestionHi, I've been reading your advice on dealing w/clay, my question is we have a large hill behind our home that we disturbed while building our home it has since collapsed several times. We are in the process of having it excavated again but would like some suggestions on what would be best to grow on it so that it want fall again. It isn't all clay but does have clay in it. Grass seems to grow well but doesn't want to hold this massive hill. We would apprecaite any suggestions you have. Thanks.
AnswerAmy, Can I get a little more information? How tall is the hill? Can you give me a guess on the angle of incline? Which way does it face...North,South, etc.? How much sun exposure...is it shaded by trees or other houses? You said you are having it excavated, what are they doing?
Thanks, Jim
