Questionwe have hundreds of tiny round holes the size or dimes if not smaller about 1/4 to 1/2" deep all over our lawn - what could this be from. There are some in my neighbors yard and some in a few other yards close to us but not half as many as we have - what can this be? Grubs, beetles, birds?
AnswerHi Sharon,
There can be many causes but it is most likely to be either
ants or worms. If it were bettle grubs the lawn would be dying. I presume the lawn is healthy?
To amend this problem you can top dress the lawn with a 50% peat:loam mix.
