QuestionI was recently in Hawaii for my honeymoon and I purchased a small Kona Coffee Tree. I need to repot it and I don't know what kind of soil to use. The information with the tree said I should use a sandy soil, but the only sandy soil I can find anywhere is the soil used for cacti and succulents, which contains bone meal. Will this work? If not, what kind of soil should I use?
Thanks!
AnswerHi Melissa
try a sandy loam which is a combination of sand clay and compost, or you could try plain old top soil thats on the sandy side the main thing is to make sure the ph is the same as where it came from. also the climate conditions must be matched to have sucess. Good luck Larry ;-)
