hi how you doing. iam a expert in autobody field fact the only one in there. any way my trouble is my back yard. i brought this house 2 yrs ago. did up the front yard came outgood . the back yard ahhhhh. i have a 6ft stockade fence around the yard and a above ground pool. i am 5.6 in tall.
the fence comes to my chin. that is how much SAND is back there. the yard size is 45 ft wide by around 40 ft deep with the pool and deck. the sand is or looks like beach sand. it is around 12 inch deep. than i have soil. last year i put down around 50 lbs of seed. and lime and ferterlizer. got expense sand now.lol. i have now where or way to get it out besides wheel barrow. than now where to put it. what can i doo anyadvise would help. will sod take or some sort of beach grass.. thanks

if you really want a lawn, it won't be cheep. the problem is sand is infertile and drains to well. you could try to work in some topsoil and compost and then seed but if the sand sinks you will waste your time. I would suggest doing a section at a time to ease the expense. There are grasses that grow in areas like that but like i said if the sand sinks or shifts you will wase your money.  Good Luck  Larry  ;-)
